Zhang Zhi Jie is a young badminton player from China. He represented his country in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024. Unfortunately, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on June 30, during his match in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Zhang Zhi Jie was rushed to the hospital by the stadium medical team where he was pronounced dead. The footage of his collapse has gone viral all around China. His cause of death shocks everyone. Indian badminton player PV Sindhu and other sports celebrities across the globe shared their condolence for his family.
