Manchu Vishnu is one of the elite actors and producers in Tollywood. He began acting as a child artist and debuted with the 1985 Telugu film Ragile Gundelu. 18 Years later, he made his debut lead role with the 2003 action drama Vishnu directed by Shaji Kailas. Since then he appeared in several notable flicks such as Luck Unnodu, Dhee, Rowdy, and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam. Besides acting, he produced films and series such as Siva Shankar, Current Theega, Chadarangam, and Son of India. Beyond movies, he is also the president of the Movie Artists Association. Kannappa is one of the most-expected Telugu movies of 2025.

Vishnu Manchu made headlines after his father Mohan Babu filed a complaint against Manchu Manoj and his wife Bhuma Monika Reddy for unlawfully seizing his property. But Manoj refused and said he was not expecting an inheritance or property from his father. He also explained the situation they are in, is for his self-respect and his family’s safety.
