Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated Vettaiyan was finally released in theatres on October 10, 2024, with great expectations. The first half of the flick was amazing and in the second half scenes of superstar Rajini and Amitabh Bachchan received whistles and cheers from the audience. A crucial fight scene of Superstar, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, and Ritika Singh created a goosebumps moment. The film was praised and loved by the all-centre audience. With all these amazing scenes and twists, some felt that a few scenes could be avoided.
Director TJ Gnanavel, have given another blockbuster movie following the success in Jai Bhim and Kootathil Oruthan. Anirudh Ravichander’s BGM and Dushara Vijayan‘s undeniable performance have improved the Vettaiyan movie’s chances of winning tremendously. It is a definite theatrical experience movie to enjoy with your family and friends.
What’s Good?
- Amitabh Bachchan and Ritika Singh’s characters are well justified.
- First 20 minutes celebrate Rajinikanth and his mass.
- Some strong female roles gave a major boost to the film’s success like Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh.
What’s Bad?
- There are a few unnecessary scenes that could be avoided.
- Some audience felt that the runtime was long and it could be reduced by 10 minutes.
- There is a lack of songs in this flick.
