Vedhika is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films. Beyond acting, she has also appeared in modelling campaigns and television commercials like Tata Gluco+. She got her big break with Bala’s periodic film Paradesi, which won several accolades including the Edison and Vijay Awards. Her notable films include Kaaviya Thalaivan, James & Alice, Shivalinga, Kanchana 3, and Ruler. Vedhika’s portrayal of Janaki in Prabhu Deva’s dancer number Petta Rap was praised by the audience.

Vedhika was first approached by action king Arjun to play the lead role in his production venture Madrasi. Eventhough she gave a stellar performance, her character went unnoticed due to the film’s focus on Arjun’s character.
After her debut, she signed a Hindi film titled Jai Santhoshi Maa which is the remake of the 1975 classic. Unfortunately, the film was never materialized.
In addition to her entertainment career, she has been involved in other charitable works for deserving communities.
