After two years of waiting, people are urging showrunner Erik Kripke to release the series. He clarified to the fans that the delay in release was due to Amazon Prime Video having to make hundreds of adjustments to the show, like dubbing in different languages for different countries and changing the file format.

To satisfy the fans’ urge, the makers revealed that The Boys spin-off series, Gen V, will heavily influence the upcoming season.
