Tanya Khanijow is an Indian YouTuber, blogger, and social media influencer best known for her solo travel vlogs. She worked in an IT company before starting a YouTube channel in 2017 and posted her first Vlog video about Pondicherry. Tanya was accused of being anti-national and received some serious backlash for her post on X formerly known as Twitter. In the post, she requested women abroad to “avoid coming to India at all costs” due to the Kolkata r*pe and murder case that shocked the nation. Tanya also mentioned, “Please don’t travel to India unless our dear leadership creates a safer environment for women.” Despite being accused and bullied for her comments she still stood by her statement.
