Suruthi Perisyasamy is a rising star who became famous for her participation in the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. She began her career as a pageant model and participated in several runway shows around Chennai. In 2019, Suruthi contested in the Femina Miss India and became the finalist representing Tamil Nadu. The following year she auditioned for Miss Diva 2020 and ended up in the 18th place of 20 models. In 2020, she signed her debut film Nandhan but due to some issues, the release date was pushed to 2024. Her first film to screen in theatres is the 2023 horror thriller Pizza 3: The Mummy.

- In an interview, she revealed that her mother married her father as a gesture of gratitude as he helped her grandfather financially in tough times. She also mentioned that her father and her grandfather are of the same age.
- During the interview, Suruthi also included that her father had five children from her first marriage and all of them were older than her mother. Her father used to lock Suruthi and his Mother in a room and considered her an unwanted child.
