Steven Van De Velde is a beach volleyball player who has qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics under the nomination of the Dutch Olympic Committee. It was his debut Olympics alongside partner Matthew Immers. At the 2015 European Games, he represented the Netherlands with partner Michiel Van Dorsten and finished third at the Blooming Beach Aalsmeer. In 2016, he was accused of the child r*pe of a 12-year-old girl and sentenced to four years.
