Stephen Matthews was a cardiologist in Denver who was convicted of se*ual assault charges. He is been on trial for the past several weeks for assaulting 11 women. On Tuesday (August 13, 2024), the jury found Stephen guilty of 35 felony counts and 3 third-degree assaults. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison. The lawyer who represented his victims said that the accused would build trust with women and talk about his dog and oftentimes use it as a reason to bring them back to his house or apartment.
