Soundariya Nanjundan is a model and actress primarily working in the Tamil film and television industry. She began her career in the modelling field and made her acting debut in the 2019 film, Adithya Varma. Soundariya also appeared in other films such as Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham, Darbar, and Draupathi. Her role as Leena in Aha’s daily series Vera Maari Office received positive responses from her fans and audience. Her fan base grew tremoundsly after she participated in the popular reality TV show, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 hosted by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.
As the Bigg Boss show neared its end Soundariya asked the former Bigg Boss contestant and her co-star in Vera Maari Office’s Vishnu Vijay‘s hand in marriage, to which he replied yes. The video of the proposal went viral on social media platforms.

During the emotional task in Bigg Boss, Soundarya revealed a deeply personal story about falling victim to a scam call. The scam resulted in her losing a significant sum of Rs 17 lakhs, nearly equivalent to eight year’s worth of her hard-earned savings.
