Rakkayie is an upcoming woman-centric movie directed by Senthil Nallasamy. This multilingual flick tells the story of a single mother who declares war against her entire village to save her newborn daughter. Lady Superstar Nayanthara played the lead role and BS Avinash played the antagonist role. Govind Vasantha of 96 and Meiyazhagan fame composed the songs and background scores. Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel in collaboration with Aditya Pittie bankrolled this flick under the banners of Drumsticks Productions and Movieverse Studios.

The title teaser for Rakkayie was released on November 18, 2024, and shows a woman making red chilli powder and feeding milk to her infant. She notices an army of men approaching her hut during the solar eclipse so she equips herself with a spear attached to a billhook machete (Kathir Aruva) and declares war against them.
