Parampal Kaur is an IAS officer turned politician. She is the first woman appointed as the Block Development Panchayat officer in Punjab. Parampal resigned from her job as an IAS officer to enter politics. A few weeks after she joined the BJP party, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann claimed that the government didn’t accept her resignation and commented on her decision to quit. Parampal has been campaigning for the BJP party in the Bathinda parliamentary constituency. This sudden news created many questions about her motives.
