Nimal Raghavan is a social activist, organic farmer, and the founder of the MEGA Foundation. He is popularly known as the Water Warrior of India. Nimal is an inspirational environmental hero who revived more than 142 water bodies in India. He started the MEGA Foundation after looking at the devasting natural disaster Gaja Cyclone created that struck Tamil Nadu’s coastal areas. Nimal was honoured at the Amazing Indians Awards event in New Delhi for his relentless work towards cleaning water bodies across India.
