He became famous for his appearances in movies and TV shows like Dumb Money, Alienated, Step Aside, and Mani. His participation in shows like AGT, SYTYCD, Das Supertalent, and Lip Sync Battle Shorties has given him a huge fan base. Merrick made the headlines after he and other influencers were spotted at the Democratic National Convention. The rumours also spread that the DNC is paying the influencers for support.
