Mari Selvaraj is an Indian filmmaker from Tirunelveli district. He primarily works in the Kollywood industry. He started his career as an assistant director in the Tamil movie Thanga Meengal (2013), helmed by Ram. Later, in 2018, Selvaraj made his debut film, Pariyerum Perumal, produced by Neelam Productions. He also assisted in movies like Kattradhu Thamizh and Taramani. His second venture, Karnan, was a blockbuster hit that featured Dhanush in the lead role.
After that, he made the movie Maamannan with Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu and Udayanidhi Stalin, which received a great response from critics and the audience. Now, he collaborated with Dhruv Vikram on the sports action drama Bison.
