Manasi Joshi is a Para-badminton player who is ranked world’s No. 1 in the women’s singles SL3 category. She is an electronic engineering graduate from Mumbai. After her graduation, she worked as a software engineer until December 2011. She had a motorbike accident while driving up to work, due to which her leg got amputated. Manasi participated in several Women’s singles matches representing India and won medals. She made the news after her harsh judgment of Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina‘s Instagram video. She mentioned that the former cricketer’s video is insulting to people with physical disabilities.
