Maharagni is a mass-filled action entertainer directed by Tollywood filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati. He marked his Bollywood debut with this pan-India film. Kajol and Prabhu Dheva are the protagonists, while Samyuktha Menon, Naseerudin Shah, Jishu Sen Gupta, and Adithya Seal portray supporting roles. E7 Entertainment and Baweja Studios backed the film financially. The makers released a statement stating that Maharagni is going to be a thrill ride with a mix of intense drama, raw emotions, and stellar action sequences.
Updates
The first part of Maharagni’s filming wrapped up in early May 2024. To commemorate, the makers released a one-minute and thirty-seven-second glimpse video. It shows Prabhu Deva chasing a man on a runway with a baseball bat while Kajol beats up some guys in a Durga festival with the sword. The video received over 5 millions of views on YouTube.
