Madhavi Raje is the president of the board of governors of Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya. Her real name is Kiran Raj Lakshmi before joining the Gwalior royal family. She came from the royal family of Nepal. Also, she is the mother of Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel, Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia. Her father-in-law, Jiwajirao Scindia, is the Maharaja of the princely state of Gwalior during British rule. Moreover, her great-grandfather is the Prime Minister of Nepal. She is the queen mother in the Gwalior royal family. Currently, her health has deteriorated, and she is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital Delhi.
