Lokesh Kanagaraj is an Indian filmmaker who has no flops. He started his career as a director in the independent short film Kaalam from the anthology film Aviyal (2016). After that, he came up with his iconic film Maanagaram, which kick-started his film career. Through his creative ideas and excellent direction skills, he made a blockbuster movie, Kaithi, with Dream Warrior Picture in 2019, the first installment for the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). With this fame, he directed a standalone movie named Master with Kollywood’s leading star, Vijay, which became a commercial success. Then, he did Vikram with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Leo with Thalapathy Vijay, which became the highest-grossing Indian film.
