Krishna McKenzie is a farmer, musician, educator, and actor who is best known as the founder of Solitude Farm and Organic Kitchen. He was inspired by the farm vision and activities of Masonobu Fukoaka, the Japanese Zen Master, which led him to choose the life of farming. Krishna has lived in Auroville for 23 years, where he worked to integrate permaculture, music, community, and local food for social change. He is a part of ZEE Tamil’s cooking reality show Samayal Express.

- In 1993, he shifted to Auroville after finishing his studies at J. Krishnamurti School in the UK. During his time at J Krishnamurti School, he studied acting, music, biology, French, and jazz guitar.
