The teaser of Vishnu Manchu’s pan-India film Kannappa premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The special screening took place at the Olympia Theater in Cannes. The makers announced that the multilingual teaser will be released worldwide on June 13, 2024, and the Telugu version of the teaser will be showcased at a popular theater in Hyderabad on May 30, 2024.
Vishnu Manchu shared in his X (Twitter) that the special showcase is only for the selected audience who supported him throughout his journey. He also mentioned that his team will reach out to the special once to offer invitees. Vishnu shared a few pictures of the Kannappa movie team who visited Cannes along with Indian Michael Jackson Prabhu Deva.
Kannappa is a multilingual fantasy drama directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. The film stars Vishnu Manchu, Akshay Kumar, Sarathkumar, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Prabhas, and others in crucial roles. The film is set to screen in theaters in 2025.
