Kangana Ranaut is an Indian actress who mostly works in the Bollywood film industry. She made her acting debut in the 2006 thriller movie Gangster. She has also appeared in a couple of Tamil and Telugu movies. Kangana made her Kollywood debut with Dhaam Dhoom, and her Tollywood debut is Ek Niranjan. She directed and produced a biopic film, Emergency, in which she plays the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Kangana represented the BJP party in the Lok Sabha MP elections 2024 from Mandi and won. On June 6, CISF officer Kulwinder Kaur allegedly slapped her at the Chandigarh airport.
