Kaneez Surka is an improv artist, actress, comedian, and YouTuber, best known for her role on the satirical news show The Week That Wasn’t. She gained recognition as a member of the popular improv group The Improvisers, including Abish Mathew, Kanan Gill, and Kenneth Sebastian. Kaneez has performed at numerous stand-up comedy events and platforms. She has also been a judge on the first and second seasons of Amazon Prime Video’s Comicstaan, a stand-up comedy show. In December 2024, Kaneez appeared in celebrity chef Vikas Khanna’s latest culinary venture, Bungalow, which has become a hotspot for celebrities in New York City.

Kaneez also runs a self-titled YouTube channel to share daily vlogs and improv content.
She hails from a Muslim family originally from Kapadvanj, which has helped her develop a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and religions.
In 2013, Kaneez co-directed Tall Tales, a storytelling club based in Mumbai.
She has made several appearances in All India Bakchod videos, playing memorable roles such as Clitika in A Woman’s Besties, Honest Wedding, Honest Bars, and more.
