Indian 2 is a vigilante crime thriller directed by S Shankar. It is a sequel to the 1996 film with the same title. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, the film stars Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek, and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The story and dialogues were jointly written by Shankar, Jayamohan, Lakshmi Saravanakumar, and Kabilan Vairamuthu. Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander scored the music for the film.

Storyline

Senapathy is a former freedom fighter who fled the country after killing several corrupt government officials. After decades of living in exile, he returned to India to help a young man who had been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through his YouTube videos. Will he go on a rampage again to clean the system of corruption or die in the process? is the main crux.
