Despite a promising cast, storyline, and commendable efforts from the production team, the end result is POOR.

Highlights

  • Vijay Devarakonda is out of his comfort zone in this film.
  • The chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur lifts the story.
  • A fight sequence in Tile Shop is impressive.
  • It was a Decent first half with an average second half. Overall, The Family Star movie will be loved by the Family audience more than the adults.

Synopsis: Govardhan (Vijay Deverakonda) is a middle-class man who is committed to the well-being of his family happiness. But life changed when a wealthy entrepreneur, Indhu (Mrunal Thakur), entered his life. The blend of romance and family moments between them is the main crux.

A fresh combo of Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur is the major highlight, they were involved completely in the characters and delivered an outstanding performance. Directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame, the film had a decent opening on its first day. Unfortunately, it fails to impress the audience and fans as the story doesn’t make an impact in any form. Family Star has been receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The first half of the film is filled with comedy and romance, with an amazing fight scene. The second half feels a bit slow, but it shares some good moral values. Gopi Sundar’s musical is good.
