Eddie Howe is a British football manager and former player. He manages the Newcastle United Football Club. During his time as a footballer, he played in the centre-back position for the AFC Bournemouth. Eddie retired from the professional game in 2007. The next year he began his career in management and took charge of Bournemouth in January 2009, making him the youngest manager in the Football League. Eddie is one of the four candidates shortlisted to replace Gareth Southgate as England Manager.
