Chandrika Dixit is popularly known as the Vada Pav Girl in Delhi. She began her career as an employee in Haldiram, but she quit her job after her son contracted dengue fever. To support her husband financially, she started a food cart that serves the potato-based delicacy Vada Pav. Her shop became a hot spot in Delhi after the food vlogger Amit Jindal shared a video of her preparing and selling the vada pav on his social media page. She is now a confirmed contestant in JioCinema’s famous reality game show Bigg Boss OTT Season 3.
