Kris Thirukumaran, of Maan Karate fame, is directing Retta Thala. The film cast also includes Tanya Ravichandran, Siddhi Idnani, and Balaji Murugodass in prominent roles. Arun Vijay is in a dual role for the second time after Thadam. The film was launched by happening director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
