Armstrong is the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He was reportedly beaten to death on July 5, 2024. Armstrong BSP was attacked by six armed men on bikes using knives and other sharp objects while he was having a conversation with a few party members near his house on Venugopalaswamy Street. According to the police, eight suspects were taken into custody including one Arcot Balu, and also the assailants were wearing uniforms of food delivery executives.
