Mohini Dey is a bass player who composes songs in genres such as Ragazz, funk, fusion, and experimental. She is known for her performance in Gaan Bangla channel’s Wind of Change and Coke Studio India shows and has also played for A R Rahman in several international shows. She released her debut self-titled album in 2023 and it instantly became a huge hit. Mohini became a sensation when she announced her divorce on the same day as music maestro AR Rahman. The online rumours spread that they are together but both legal parties denied all the speculations and confirmed that both couples’ separations are not connected.
