Jani Master is a famous Indian dance choreographer, actor, and politician who works predominantly in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. He choreographed several dance forms, especially folk and Western styles. Jani began his film career as a dancer and made his debut in the 2009 Telugu film Drona. At first, Actor Ram Charan employed him for the Telugu film Racha and continued to hire him for choreography in all his following movies. Later, Jani was appointed by Hindi actor Salman Khan as the choreographer for the Jai Ho movie (2014).
In 2018, he assisted the dance legend Prabhudeva on the Tamil song Rowdy Baby from the Maari 2 film, which became widespread across India. Further, he received acclaim for his choreography in movies like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Beast, Pushpa The Rise, and Jailer.
He joined Pawan Kalyan Jana Sena Party in 2024 and was dismissed after he was caught in a se*ual harassment case.
A young woman choreographer from the Telugu film industry has filed a police complaint against him for harassing her multiple times forcefully which became a sensation on social media platforms.
