Puja Khedkar is a former probationary IAS who made the headlines for submitting fake documents to UPSC. She Submitted a fake disability and OBC certificate to clear the civil servant exam. In April 2022, the court ordered her to report to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to verify her disability but she ignored the order. In the press meeting, she said the UPSC doesn’t have the authority to disqualify her candidature only the DoPT (Department of Personnel and Traning) does, her response created a huge controversy.

- According to reports, she took the UPSC exam several times by submitting different fraudulent disability certificates. One time she falsely claimed she suffered from short-leg syndrome, and the other time she had mental sickness.
- During her trainee period, she sparked controversy by using a government siren on her private car with a VIP number plate.
- Sources say she repeatedly demanded a private cabin, car, residential quarters, and a personal secretary that are provided for the higher officials. But her demands were rejected by her superiors.
