Nicolae Miu is a 54-year-old engineer who was convicted of sta**ing five people on the Wisconsin River in 2022. He sta**ed multiple people at the Apple River in 2022, and a teenager named Isaac Schuman, 17 years old, passed away due to his fatal injuries. On 31st July 2024, Nicolae was found guilty under six counts, like first-degree reckless homicide, endangering safety, and battery. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Isaac’s mother, Alina Hernandez, gave an impact statement and requested that Nicolae Miu be punished with a maximum sentence of 100 years.
While confronted, Miu claimed that the teens falsely accused him of being a pedophile.
But he said he was looking for his last phone, which triggered an altercation between the two groups.
