Rakshanda Khan is the director of the Lakme Academy located in Moradabad. She was accused of pressuring Hindu girls to become Muslims. On July 22, 2024, two Hindu girls, Tanya Chaudhary and Swati Pal, filed a case against their company director, Rakshanda, to the District Collector Anuj Singh, saying she forced them to befriend Muslim youth and to marry them after converting to Islam.

According to sources, one of the girls alleged that Rakshanda abuses Hinduism and forbids the Hindu girls from wearing Bindi, Sindur, and Mangalsutra.
The complaint also states that Rakshanda has primarily hired Hindu women and Muslim men as staff.
