Andhagan (The Pianist) is a Tamil crime thriller drama directed by Thiagarajan. It is the official Tamil remake of the 2018 Hindi movie Andhadhun directed by Sriram Raghavan. It stars Prashanth, Priya Anand, Simran, and Samuthirakani in the crucial roles with Karthik, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, and KS Ravikumar as the supporting actors. Shanthi Tiagarajan bankrolled the flick under the Staar Movies banner.

The makers released the film’s trailer on July 14, 2024, on YouTube. It received rave reviews for its unique screenplay and cast. It’ll screen in theatres from August 2024.
Initially, Mohan Raja was announced as the director but a few months later he was replaced by JJ Fredrick, later he also quit after a few months. The pre-production work for the movie began in 2019. The principal photography was started in March 2021, but the shooting was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was later completed in November 2022.
