Alex Morgan is an American soccer player who is a striker and captain of the San Diego Wave FC and the United States National Team. From 2018 to 2020, she co-captained the United States team with Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe. Alex made the news when she left the United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT). It is the first time she was benched since she got her inaugural cap in March 2010.
