Kannappa is a multilingual fantasy drama directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Vishnu Manchu wrote the screenplay and played the lead role. Preity Mukhundhan of Star fame played the female lead role, and Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Vani Bhojan starred in supporting roles. Mohan Babu produced this film under the AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners. The film is based on the legend of Kannappa, a great devotee of Lord Shiva, the destroyer.

The makers unveiled the film’s teaser on June 14, confirming that Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Kajal Aggarwal will play cameo roles. The post-production work is going in full force, so we can expect the movie to be released soon.
