Thandel is a Telugu action thriller drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the vital roles, along with Sundip Ved and Kishore Raju Vasistha in supporting roles. Bunny Vas funded the film under Geetha Arts production house. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad tuned the music and background score.

Thandel is Naga Chaitanya’s 23rd film, and it is the most expensive film in his career, with a total budget of around 70 crores. Chaitanya has undergone a massive transformation as a fisherman, both physically and mentally. The film’s story is based on real-life incidents that happened in Gujarat in 2018.
